Microsoft 365 and Azure offered at cost

We profit from protecting, governing, & optimising it keeping our clients engaged, safe & informed

We have been working with several of our clients recently to optimise their cloud licensing position with Microsoft, and I wanted to put a few words together for our blog, sharing why this is important to us.

Several things to note first,

  • CyberPrae are not a reseller

  • We are fully transparent with our licensing costs

  • We do not add margin to these costs

  • We do not ‘upsell’ add-on licenses

  • We see licensing as part of the essential groundwork needed by our clients to be secure by design; therefore, it helps everyone to get it right

CyberPrae is a Microsoft-aligned Managed Services Provider, and Managed Security Provider. We are adept at supporting organisations with not only the technical skills, but also the governance and compliance capabilities required to be truly secure.

As part of this, we provide our clients with Microsoft 365 and Azure at cost, and we are fully transparent with all our licensing prices.

We do this because we prefer that our income comes from our work in securing, governing, and optimising our client’s environment, not marking up licencing. This approach ensures that our advice is always objective, transparent, and focused entirely on reducing risk and driving value, not upselling.

Many providers profit from Microsoft licensing margin. CyberPrae removes that incentive.

We operate on a security-first model: licensing at cost, governance is the value.

That means:

  • No hidden licensing uplift

  • No artificial SKU inflation

  • No misaligned incentives

  • A clear separation between platform cost and security strategy

Our goal is to have our clients stay with us for the long term and have trust in our guidance. Most breaches occurring via Microsoft 365 stem from misconfiguration. We ensure that their cloud provision is free from misconfiguration, and we make sure the products in use are meeting the real requirements that our clients have.
