Tell us a little about why you were looking to make a change regarding the management of your technology estate?
We were looking to make a change because our technology estate, including both systems and hardware, had become outdated and was no longer meeting the needs of the organisation. Much of it had developed organically over time, and we needed support to modernise in a structured and sustainable way. Whilst we are a charity, we also required reliable, high-quality customer service so our team could focus their time and energy on delivering our charitable mission rather than managing IT issues.
What was it that initially led you to consider CyberPrae as a team that could help you or your organisation improve things?
From the outset, CyberPrae demonstrated a strong understanding of the challenges charities face, particularly around legacy systems, limited budgets, and the need for dependable support. Their approach was open, collaborative, and helpful, which gave us confidence that they would provide both guidance and a reliable service.
What were you looking to achieve by changing your technology supplier or by bringing in a managed service provider?
We were looking for a managed service provider who could help us modernise our systems and hardware while remaining mindful of our budget constraints. Equally important was having a dependable support service in place, so staff could work productively without unnecessary disruption and focus on the important work of the charity.
Do you feel that you have achieved, or are making progress towards these goals now that you are working with CyberPrae?
Yes, very much so. We have just completed the onboarding phase, during which CyberPrae took the time to fully understand our current environment, priorities, and future requirements. They provided clear, well-considered recommendations, which we are now actively working through with their guidance. Throughout the process, they listened carefully to our wants and long-term goals and have clearly taken these on board, giving us confidence that our IT is being managed reliably and with our organisation’s future in mind.
What do you like most about the way CyberPrae support you and your organisation?
We value their supportive, responsive approach and the quality of their customer service. CyberPrae communicate clearly, are easy to work with, and consistently balance technical expertise with an understanding of our charitable context. This allows our team to concentrate on delivering our mission, knowing that IT support is in safe hands.
Is there anything you would like CyberPrae to change, or deliver to you in a different way?
At this stage, no. The service and onboarding experience have been well structured and clearly communicated.
Is there anything else you would like us to include or any other comments regarding the service that CyberPrae are providing?
We would confidently recommend CyberPrae to other charities or non-profit organisations looking for an IT partner who understands outdated environments, budget constraints, and the importance of reliable, high-quality customer service. Their collaborative and thoughtful approach has made them a trusted partner for our organisation.
